DIY Kitchen Table Refinish – Part 2

It’s been a CrAzY month to say the least! Matt and I (along with the help of many family members and friends) have completed SO many projects in our new home and have settled in quite well! (Don’t worry! I’ll have new home updates coming soon!)

I thought I’d give you a quick update on our kitchen table refinish!

If you haven’t read the fist post, go check out PART 1.

Our new house has an eat in kitchen as well as a dining room. At our old house we only had a dining room table so we purchased this table set off of Facebook marketplace.

Here is the finished product! For the chairs, I found a nice beige colored vinyl leather that would be easy to clean because …. I have two boys under 6… “nough said”…

I really love the smooth softness of this material as well. It looks so lovely against the white paint.

For the table, I didn’t let the grain totally get covered by the paint because I wanted the texture to show through.

The whole set really turned out so amazing and it’s PERFECT in our new kitchen! (For those of you who didn’t  know out kitchen was a dark, rich red color when we moved in… As you can tell that has been changed!  We plan to paint the cabinets soon too! Updates to come!)
