We had a blast attending the opening of the hit series Chuggington’s all new experience, Chuggington Adventure Depot at Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO! It was so amazing being personally invited out for the opening red carpet event and to have such an incredible time watching the boys be some of the first kiddos to experience Chuggington Adventure Depot!
Chuggington Adventure Depot
Jaden and Parker James explored the exciting world of the global hit animated series “Chuggington” in the traintastic Chuggington Adventure Depot at Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO!
This all-new immersive experience attraction allows Silver Dollar City’s youngest guests to become their favorite Chugger characters, like Wilson, Brewster and Koko, as they explore the unique, wall-to-wall recreation of Chuggington. Our kid(s) stepped into their very own trainee Chugger and took off on an interactive adventure of free-play fun.
From riding the rails to chugging backwards and dancing along with their Chugger friends, kids will also explore their favorite Chuggington locations such as The Roundhouse, The Ice Cream Factory and The Repair Shed.
Our boys stepped into their very own trainee Chugger and took off on an interactive adventure of free-play fun. Parker James found his “spot” at the train table and had SO much fun playing with the Chuggington toys it was hard to get him to leave!
Jaden couldn’t get enough of the Chuggington push cars! When he walked into Chuggington’s Adventure Depot, he picked a train and drove it for almost the remainder of our time there!
The boys were able to play and build tracks of endless fun with the Chuggington toys which are available online at Amazon, Target, and Walmart.

Silver Dollar City
We teamed up with Silver Dollar City to share all the fun they have for the family! Which is a TON!!!
Silver Dollar City is an amazing 1880s-style theme park located in Branson, Missouri. The amusement park offers 40 rides and attractions, craftsman demonstrations, live musical performances – all sitting atop one of Missouri’s deepest caves. It’s AMAZING fun for any family!!
Rides
The park is designed as a big circle with a large town-like feel on the inside of the circle and larger rides on the outer ring. There’s so much to discover and explore!
The boys loved jumping from ride to ride! They couldn’t get enough of them!
Even though Parker James is only 2 (and extremely small for his age) and Jaden is 7, there were SO many rides they both could do!
Fireman’s landing was one of our favorite stops! It had the CUTEST fireman theme with old fashioned hook and ladder trucks, fire buildings, and of course, dalmatian pups!
The boys LOVED riding on Lucky the dog!
The Hot Air Balloons at Fireman’s landing were also a total favorite of theirs!
Like I said, with Jaden being a bit older, he LOVED being able to go on some of the bigger rides with Matt!
He was SO proud he could ride many of these on his own!!
Parker James enjoyed the rides too!! We loved their section for the little guys. The Ladybugs, Froggies, and Caterpillar Butterfly rides were SO fun!
And for those of you with older kiddos or adrenaline junkies out there, Silver Dollar City has some CRAZY thrilling rides! One of which holds a World Record! (Be sure to check that out!!)
The Food
Oh my word guys…. The FOOD at Silver Dollar City was out of this world!
One of our Silver Dollar City hosts told us that “foodies” come from ALL over to experience the food at the theme park.
And man, oh man, can I see why!!!
From GIANT skillet dishes to incredible fresh baked cinnamon bread and cookies. Or enormous candied apples to incredible loaded kettle chip baskets and foot long skewered potato spirals.
Not to mention all the amazing different styles of food such as BBQ, pizza, amazing grills, and just good old home style cookin’.
Silver Dollar City is DEFINITELY a stop on the map even if just to try all the food!!
Our family had the BEST time exploring the park and can’t wait to go back!!!!

Showboat Branson Belle
As most of y’all know, we are an extremely musical family! I have my degree in Musical Theater and direct, choreograph, vocal coach and perform all over the place!
So going to see a show is ALWAYS up our alley! It was such a treat to be invited to enjoy an evening on the showboat!!
The Branson Belle is SUCH an incredible venue. The way the park guides you down to the water where there’s an adorable plaza with old fashioned “riverside” shops is just gorgeous.
The top of the boat has a large covered pavilion with tons of chaisr for enjoying the gorgeous Table Rock Lake view.
They also have “yard games” up there that you can play once you’ve finished your meal before the show starts!
There’s not a bad seat in the house! The show just knocked your socks off and the banquet style food was incredible!
The staff was incredible and extremely accommodating (especially with a toddler and lots of food allergies in our family!)
Our whole family enjoyed the entire evening!
(Even though Parker James looks a little “done”! HA!)

Chateau on the Lake
We can’t say enough about this gorgeous resort! From the moment you see it rising out of the Ozark hills next to Table Rock Lake, to the beautiful long landscaped drive up to the front and the STUNNING lobby!
Every bit of Chateau on the Lake Resort is just incredible!
The rooms were so luxurious and comfortable! They worked SO well for us as well as our boys. Even with a 2 year old who needed naps!
The pullout couch and corner area for the Pack’ n Play was so perfect!
We just couldn’t get over the VIEWS from our room! Completely breathtaking every time we opened our curtains or stepped out onto our balcony.
The resort had incredible restaurants, a movie theater, amazing spas, and so many more fun and fantastic amenities!
